We are kinda a wee bit nuts about integrity, actually. As you can see, most of our clients love their trips. We have a very few less than happy clients, and we always do our best to learn from that. We do our best, but like everyone, we sometimes make mistakes. Just not often. Adventure travel is not for everyone. Just most people :) ”

I am lazy and timid by nature so doing this was the experience of a lifetime. It took my experience of day hikes and road biking and a little boating and took it up several levels of skill and effort. The other people on the tour were great to be with and it was a privilege to explore this beautiful country with them.

This extreme trip was more than we expected: more beautiful, more physically demanding and more rewarding. We were glad we had trained and tried to prepare for the challenge of the daily activities. Although the hiking and biking were still very challenging, at the end of the day the views and sense of accomplishment made all the perspiration and exhaustion well worth it. This trip is not for the weekend warrior. This is an action-packed vacation, leave the book at home, you won't have time for it. Ben and Cristina were great from beginning to end, from keeping us on schedule to see great vistas and photo ops to feeding us well to keep our energy high. Both are very knowledgeable and willing to share their expertise to help everyone to improve their hiking and biking skills.

This trip was an excellent way to see the South Island of New Zealand. It is so beautiful. The quality of the trip with accommodations, meals and activities was a good value. My normal workouts are 10-12 hours per week, but this was a challenging trip. I was prepared to handle the 4-7 hours a day of challenging activities. The end of the day brought satisfaction and ensured a good night's sleep. The itinerary is well thought out to allow for great scenery and active fun-filled days.

This was one of the best trips I've been on. Ben & Magnus were awesome. The Mt. Owen & Cascade Saddle backpacks were outstanding. Mountain biking was excellent, especially the luge at Craigiburne and Wanaka. Accommodation was super. This was just the kind of trip I was looking for, very active and challenging.

Really enjoyed the trip! The guides were fantastic, and all of the adventures were a lot of fun and super cool and really pushed my bounds!!! It was a blast traveling with Ben & Magnus and the rest of the XTREME trip participants!

Completed the Xtreme Rimu trip in March, 2011. Although we consider ourselves to be in good shape (we live and play in the Canadian Rockies after all!) this trip was a great challenge. From mountain biking technical single track in beautiful mountains and lakeside towns to the amazing backpacking trips in Nelson and Mt. Aspiring National Parks, this trip is designed for the very active adventure seeker. It's definitely a trip worthy of the name 'extreme'! I enjoyed every minute of it, the guides really made the trip - Ben and Magnus were supportive, enthusiastic and truly amazing athletes! - Lorri Badran (extremely tired but happy participant)

You may call it xtreme because some hikes were really demanding. But you could also call it xtreme because the landscape was xtremely beautiful and the guides were xtremely competent, friendly and helpful.
