New Zealand Trips

The best way to experience the New Zealand outdoors

We run most of our New Zealand trips from October through April, to give you plenty of options depending on how much time you have and how active you'd like to be, during our extended summer down here on the southern hemisphere. Or to see the South Island at its most dramatic, join us on a 14-day South Island winter adventure 'Winter Rimu' between May and September. We're very enthusiastic about sharing our natural history, so each trip has been given the nickname of one of our favourite native trees or birds. Let us know if you'd like some help picking the perfect trip for you - or if you'd like to hear how to pronounce them!

Our clients come from all around the world so we stick to one currency (US dollars) in order to keep things simple. Just click on the currency converter for an approximate cost in your local currency.

Years ago, we adapted our signature Rimu trip to suit the cooler conditions by adding skiing and snowboarding options, along with some of the South Island’s best hikes. This adventure is the perfect excuse to escape the heat!
