"Choosing ACTIVE NEW ZEALAND to guide me around the South Island was the best decision I made when planning my New Zealand vacation. Our guides were full of energy and knowledge, and in general great people to hang out with for 2 weeks! I did such a small amount of research into the country before my visit, so I was at their mercy, and I certainly was not disappointed!"

What our clients have said:

"Wonderful, she worried about my weird food allergies and quirky likes and dislikes. She was always trying to ensure there was enough variety for me and I was very impressed. I would actually give her a 10 out of 7. :-)"
-- Bruce Wheaton and Kathy Reducka (Ottawa, Canada) October 2011 Rimu

"Amanda is very impressive. She's a hard worker and her skills in activity coordination, cooking, cleaning, helping and guiding was great. Her outgoing, pleasant personality was greatly appreciated."

-- Lisa Loften (Decatur, Georgia, United States) December 2010 Rimu

"Amanda was wonderful and awesome. Amanda has a talent for pulling meals together. Not only were the meals very nutritious and tasty, but the presentation and quantity of food was enough to push any diet consciousness aside. I was on a Gluten-free/Lactose-free diet. Amanda was very conscientious when preparing my meals. Even when I wanted to sway from my diet, she saw to it that I got to try the fish & chips!! I appreciate how accommodating she was. But not only that, Amanda has such a great personality, she is so easy to talk to and hang around with. I found her love of the outdoors and traveling to be so inspiring. "

"We all wanted to bring Amanda home with us! She is an amazing cook! Can't believe she can do that for so many people, so well day after day. She was great. Lots of fun too. Always upbeat."
-- Cindy Scofield (Greenbrae, California, United States) November 2010 Rimu

"Amanda was great, and her food was amazing given some of the remote locations we stayed."
-- Justin Geiman (Westminster, Maryland, United States) October 2010 Tui
