I loved the itinerary and the location. It was a well thought out trip. We enjoyed the other guests too. The only negative was that by comparison (to the Yellowstone trip), the guides were less engaged with the guests and were less knowledeable about the location. They were unable to answer many questions or simply did not engage the guests unless they really needed to. The Yellowstone team was highly educated on the area and was constantly making an effort to be a part of the group. These guides kept to themselves more. I am not sure the three of them had a great connection which may have been part of the issue. We did have a hiccup the first day and they handled that very well and professionally and it did not affect the trip enjoyment.

The group got along very well and we laughed a lot. I enjoyed a full day away from the hotel and into the outdoors. The hiking and biking were spectacular and I could not have seen all the beautiful hidden places that our guides took us to if I was to do this trip alone or with a friend.

Our guides were wonderful. We were in Yellowstone National Park when flooding forced the park to close. Our guides put together a tour on the fly finding very good accommodations, made arrangements for alternative providers for the trip activities. They did quite well with the challenge of our group (we brought both the youngest and oldest members of the tour). I particularly enjoyed their sharing of expertise about wild life biology and behaviors.

I would rate this trip higher than a 10 if I was able to. We visited Yellowstone National Park during one of the three shut downs that has ever occurred in the park's history. The week that we visited there was historic flooding, and water levels were higher than they had been since the early 1900's in parts of the park. On Day 2 of our trip, all travelers were being evacuated. This could have led to our highly planned and anticipated trip being underwhelming, or worse yet, canceled. Instead, our guides, Heather, Katie, and Jamie pivoted and made it a trip that we'll remember for a lifetime.
We were originally supposed to spend our whole trip in Yellowstone National Park. When the part shut down, our guides worked tirelessly to plan a truly outstanding adventure to the Tetons, Jackson Hole, and Big Sky. Their choices of locations and activities were simply perfect, and truthfully, even better than our original itinerary. I can't stress enough how hard they worked (staying up almost all night, keeping positive attitudes, using all connections available to them), to make sure that we had an amazing trip. They listened and heard on our first day what folks were most excited to see and do (horse back riding, white water rafting), and made it happen.

We had an amazing trip. Our guides, Moose, Derek and Kyle were fantastic. You did a wonderful job swapping gears when Yellowstone closed. We had friends calling to make sure we were safe and we were able to say that Austin Adventures and our guides had it covered.

My family had an excellent experience despite the record flooding that was happening at Yellowstone during our stay.
We would like to thank our guides Drake, Bryson and Keilea, they did a great job keeping us entertained.
