We really enjoyed this trip--our first visit to Northern Patagonia. Zac was a great guide and all the other local guides along the way were good, too. It was very comforting to know that they were taking care of all the details so that we could relax and enjoy the incredible scenery. Everyone went out of their way to insure that we were all having a good time.

The Condor trip to Patagonia was truly a wonderful experience. Although the trip was quite expensive (especially for those of us who don't earn in USD!) I booked it with Active Adventures because, where I would be out of my comfort zone, I knew you would have my back!
The hiking was challenging but manageable, and certainly worth the effort! Day after day we saw the most amazing and beautiful scenery. The Guides made the experience all the more special by also telling us about the plants and wildlife in the area. In particular, Cem, our tour co-ordinator, seems to be the ultimate Condor spotter. Seeing those magnificent birds was super-special.
Of course, for part of the trip we stayed in refugios, which provided suitable accommodation and food for tired and hungry hikers. When we stayed in hotels, they were all comfortable, and the restaurants selected did not disappoint.
You certainly do know how to choose tour leaders! Cem did a superb job. The logistics were never an issue - he made everything just work out well. Even when there were obstacles - like the National Park Rangers in Chile going on strike - Cem made a plan. Nothing was too much trouble for him - he worked hard to make our trip very special.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

It was great to finally get have the trip after a two year delay. The trip was everything I expected. This was my 6th trip with Active and the the third trip when Dan was one of the guides. As usual the the trip was paced perfectly and Dan always had a plan b ready to adapt to any changes. If you are looking for a mix of cultural and activity this is the trip. The trip is not as strenuous as some but the opportunities to see day to day life and visit places beyond the tourist sites makes this trip unique.

As I’m sure you are aware, Pablo was fantastic. The attending staff, in particular, Pablo were also great. Attentive, good natured and friendly well beyond what I would expect on a trip like this. I saw and experienced much more than I expected to. I also gained some really great friends, including Pablo.

As with our previous trip with AA, the guides really make the trip ever so memorable. Of course, the places and scenery are what we initially are drawn to, but the guides put that special icing on the cake. We waited (through the covid years), to take this trip, and it was worth the wait! Nothing could have prepared us for the enormous educational experience we received - about Patagonia itself (how it was formed, how it is preserved, the environment and more), about the countries of Chile and Argentina, about the explorers and history that helped for establish the area, about the people who live and work in this 'rather hostile' environment at the tip of the Americas. Our eyes were filled with spectacular vistas every day, our knowledge of the area was increased with every question and information provided by our guides, and our hearts are full, with a love and appreciation for the peoples and cultures that inhabit Patagonia, South America.
The scheduling and transfers were brilliantly executed, with a few 'rest' days between longer harder treks. The food provided was excellent in every way (well maybe the lunches were a little too large), and we really appreciated the different restaurants that our guide, Cem Inal, took us to. He is a 'gem' for real - you are so fortunate to have such an amazing person working for AA.
