This trip was a great way to learn about NZ geography, culture,& economy, and to see much of what your country has to offer ~ lots of variety, from small town to "tourist town", from coastal beaches to inland glaciers and mountains. Seeing Mt Cook reveal itself from the clouds was a special treat, indeed! The hikes were lovely, with plenty of time allowed for sightseeing, picture taking and camaraderie on the trails. Our group of 12 was a delight, as were our guides, Aleisha & Jessi. Could not have enjoyed it more. Thank you.

This was a truly memorable trip. Pepo and his team made the trip enjoyable and stress free. The very first day Pepo laid out the "Super Plan" for the day and it ran like clock work. Not only was it well organized but Pepo and the staff explained each activity so that we felt comfortable and safe. The meals they planned were delicious with varied local foods to try in quaint local restaurants.

Whilst I enjoy walking with my dog at home or an occasional national park this was very new to me. Loved the experience on Doubtful Sound, just so surreal remembering kyaking in the Fiordland, the captain putting the sails up with numerous dolphins swimming around us & the tranquility of the surrounds. Every walk was beautiful with amazing scenery. We were very fortunate with the weather. I do need to get my confidence up on the downhill slopes :( Our guide DK was very passionate with his Maori story telling which was very interesting, I believe Tash passed her first initiation as a guide with flying colours. Thoroughly enjoyed our picnic & other places we visited. We had a great time with the rest of the "family" for our 5 day hike!!

Patagonia is beautiful, the organization fabulous, Gustavo outstanding, and the company superb. Overall, a wonderful trip! I chose not to do the W-hike and instead I was rewarded with staying in a wonderful hotel, great meals and nice daily hikes. If you value your comfort, I would strongly recommend this option (refugions can be rough for older people). Hotels were overall great, with the exception of the one in El Chalten - it would be nice to upgrade!

We originally booked this trip for March 2020... almost three years later we finally made it! Despite our bags joining us six days later and our knees and ankles having three more years of wear and tear, it really was an exceptional trip. Josh and Lynette worked around the clock taking excellent care of us. We were constantly surprised about the quality of the food, the places we stayed and the beauty around us even as I labored up every hill, climbed over rocks, waded through a river and carried a backpack for three days for the first time! I left New Zealand feeling like I now have an unbreakable connection with the country and the people. Yes, it was harder than I ever expected BUT I did it and you can too!
